Why has a personal historian chosen a love song as her theme song? Because love is the central theme in all of the books that I’ve created.

“I love your precious heart” sings from the pages of each of my clients’ stories. The love for their driving forces: their life partners, their daughters, their sons, their mothers, their fathers, their sisters, their brothers, their mentors, their best mates.

“Two words collided” Boy meets girl – of course I see this again and again. Boy from one world, girl from another, melding their two experiences to form a new whole.

“’Cause we all have wings; But some of us don’t know why” is my favourite line. That is the message I draw from my clients and hand to their grandchildren. Their stories of rolling with the punches while believing in themselves, grabbing each opportunity that comes their way and soaring to new heights, empower their grandchildren.

You have wings kid. Go out and do your stuff. Show them what you’re made of.
